I thought this would be a fun way to run a give-away... All you have to do is answer the question by the picture via an email to me. Everyone who answers correctly will be put into the drawing to be held April 30. This way, no one else can read your answer and I will be able to contact you if you are the winner! The prize will be a hand-made original of my own creation! Lets have some fun with this....Good Luck Everyone!

What is the specific use for this craft tool?

The Perpetual Spring Chicken series is completed... got all the wire feathers bent into shapes this morning. I think they turned out really cute. Scroll down a few posts and you can see what they looked like before firing and painting.

Okay, call me a Kook...I did these shoes last Spring and wanted to share them with everyone here on the blog, or should I say "clog"...LOL Anyway, it took an OLD pair of clogs. a ton of magazine pictures, modge-podge, scissors and rick-rack to create these one of a kind shoes...
After finishing them, I gave them about 5 coats of modge-podge and 5 coats of spray varnish. I have only worn them one time for an outing with my crazy Red Hat Group...they were in awe of their beauty, aren't you???? *smile* Feel free to leave a comment!

I want to thank all of my visitors for stopping by this week. It has been so fun to see all of the blogs, meet new people and learn new things. The winner of the drawing for the Ultimate Blog Party 2009 at Craftola is:
Gail ~ mooselovingmamabear
Congratulations! Please email me with your mailing address so I can send your prize.
But that not all, everyone is a Winner this week for stopping by. I will be sending out participation prizes to all who visited this week via email. Thank you to all for participating. Craftola will be holding another give-away very soon.
Have a great weekend and happy blogging!

Here it is yet another Wednesday in March... there is some Springtime activity going on outside, with some trees and shrubs blooming! At least my allergies are telling me so... the Month of March is not one of my favorites, as it seems to last forever!

That is why my husband and I always host our annual "big" Mystery Party in March, so we have something to look forward to for this month of the year. After 5 years of having them, most of our friends look forward to it as an annual "event"! Unfortunately, I think we had it too early this year, we should have had it this weekend, instead of 2 weeks ago... Oh well, next year I will remember this!

Can't wait for the drawing to see who wins my door prize during this week's UBP! Winner will be picked via a random number picker Friday at 6 p.m. ~ so there's still time for others to join in the fun...
It has been so enjoyable for me to be able to check out all the many new blogs and meet so many interesting people this week! So glad I am participating in the UBP this year!!

After thinking about everyone who has stopped by to "party" here at Craftola this week, I have decided to do the drawing for my "Hand Made Giveaway" and all others who visited will also receive something from me, too. Just my way of saying "thank you for visiting"...

Spread the word. Craftola will be drawing for my give away on Friday at 6 p.m. EST. The winner will be notified and posted here next week. All others will receive a little prize from me via email... it will be something I think everyone might use.

Happy UBP! Cheers!!!!!
Finally got the Pink and Brown Baby Sweater Set finished. I had the sweater done for weeks and finally sat down and did the hat yesterday morning. The pixes don't do this justice...if you saw it in person, you'd fall in love with it as I have... :>)

Hi All, here's the deal...I will draw from your comments left under this post and the winner receives a PRIZE! Handmade by me, signed and dated! Just read my blog (if something interests you!), comment under this post and leave a valid email address to be eligible!

Happy Reading! Hurray for the Ultimate Blog Party!!!!!!!

Well, I finally did it...opened my Etsy Shop yesterday! Dear Daughter came over for a visit yesterday afternoon and I put her to the task of making my Etsy shop banner. I had taken some pixes of our Magnolia tree in full bloom, and after working on it for 2 hours, she finished it to my liking...I think its lovely! Thank you, Natalie!
I hope everyone can visit my shop. I will be adding new things all the time!

Just finished the prototype, my own design...an Easter Bunny pin! I think they'll be adorable as pins, magnets or ornaments. I know I'd like to get one in my Easter basket! I did 20 muslin covered badges for this go 'round. They'll be a limited edition.

I've been so busy in the last month, I haven't had time to blog... Hopefully, I will be able to post regularly now and post some pictures of finished projects! Yesterday I was in the mood for clay and created these "Bird Ladies". I am going to put them in my Etsy Shop when I open it this Spring.
